Position Summary:

This role partners with sales and operations leaders to deliver pricing insights that support company objectives. Key responsibilities include analyzing pricing performance, developing recommendations that support revenue and profit goals, and translating findings into clear, actionable guidance for business leaders.
Insights will be shared with field leadership through collaborative discussions, persuasive presentations, and easy-to-understand analytics that help drive informed decision-making.

Role Focus: This role is designed for finance professionals who demonstrate strong judgment, ownership, and influence. The Business Analyst serves as a trusted advisor by translating complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
Business Impact: This position provides analytical leadership to the Pricing team in support of the Contract product lines, helping drive performance, accountability, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, product development, and field leadership to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Pricing Analysis and Performance: Monitor, analyze, and explain key pricing and operational performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Models and Process Improvement: Maintain pricing models, troubleshoot issues, and develop improvement methodologies and best practices where applicable.
  • Communication and Influence: Present pricing recommendations, results, and opportunities to Pricing Department leadership, cross-functional pricing leaders, field leadership, and other business stakeholders through clear analytics and persuasive presentations.
  • Special Projects: Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects that require strong pricing knowledge, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline required.
  • MBA or equivalent master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data or business analytics, sales data management, or related roles supporting profit improvement initiatives.
  • Progressive experience conducting data, pricing, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Experience synthesizing information from multiple sources and translating analysis into actionable, supportable recommendations.

Technical and Communication Skills:

  • Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Experience working with large datasets using SQL, Power Query, or similar data-manipulation tools.
  • Ability to develop persuasive verbal and written presentations for business leaders.
  • Ability to clearly present analytical findings, pricing insights, and recommendations to support decision-making.
