Game Developer – Mid-Senior Contract

Join an innovative team at the forefront of Web3 gaming, working on a next-generation metaverse project built with Unreal Engine 5. This role focuses on developing and integrating blockchain features into immersive gaming experiences, including NFT rewards, staking systems, and a robust creator economy. You will collaborate with a fast-growing team during the active alpha stage, contributing to both backend blockchain flows and gameplay mechanics. The position is fully remote and offers the potential for long-term collaboration and future equity or token allocation.

Deliverables

• Develop and maintain smart contracts for NFT rewards, staking, and in-game assets using Solidity.
• Integrate blockchain backend systems with Unreal Engine 5 gameplay features.
• Collaborate with designers and QA testers to ensure seamless blockchain-gameplay interactions.
• Implement secure claiming, staking, and reward distribution mechanics.
• Support the creation and management of user-generated content within the metaverse.
• Troubleshoot and resolve blockchain-related bugs and issues during alpha testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Web3 game development, with a strong background in Solidity and smart contract deployment.
• Hands-on experience integrating blockchain systems with Unreal Engine 5 or similar game engines.
• Familiarity with NFT standards, staking mechanisms, and blockchain-based economies.
• Experience working in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in blockchain security and game logic.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in alpha or early-stage game development is a plus.
