Mobile Developer

Role Description

The Mobile Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments. This role creates secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences while supporting business objectives and product innovation.

Key responsibilities include developing mobile applications based on business and technical requirements, translating UI/UX designs into responsive and intuitive user interfaces, and implementing application features that deliver reliable performance across a variety of mobile devices and operating systems. The role ensures applications adhere to coding standards, security best practices, and platform-specific guidelines.

The position designs and integrates RESTful APIs, manages local and remote data storage, implements authentication and authorization mechanisms, and optimizes application performance, scalability, and reliability. It is responsible for troubleshooting application issues, debugging defects, and delivering timely software updates and enhancements.

The role participates throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement. It collaborates closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications using Agile development methodologies.

The position also contributes to code reviews, technical documentation, application architecture discussions, CI/CD implementation, and the evaluation of emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and development best practices to continuously improve product quality and development efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of mobile application development, software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, mobile architecture, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Ability to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications.

Proficiency in native mobile development for Android and/or iOS or cross-platform development frameworks, mobile SDKs, RESTful API integration, version control systems, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and modern development tools. Familiarity with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing frameworks, and DevOps practices is an advantage.

Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, application security, authentication, push notifications, offline data synchronization, performance optimization, and application publishing processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and develop efficient, maintainable software solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, document technical solutions clearly, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
