This role combines strong mobile software engineering expertise with hands-on test automation experience, ensuring high-quality, reliable mobile applications. The engineer collaborates closely with product, QA, and development teams, develops mobile features using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java, and implements automated validation using one or more of Appium, Selenium, or Playwright within CI/CD pipelines.

- Efficient resolution of defects and mobile platform issues.
- Consistent contribution to automated test coverage and CI/CD quality gates.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams on product deliverables.
- Continuous improvement in mobile and automation engineering skills.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS and Android SDKs.
- Implement features using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java following engineering best practices.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and test cases using Appium or Playwright and maintain legacy Selenium test cases.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define requirements and quality strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and release activities.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
- Document technical designs, automation frameworks, and mobile implementation details.
- 3+ years experience developing and maintaining native mobile applications.
- Commercial experience with iOS and Android development using Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java.
- Experience creating or maintaining automated test solutions using one or more of Appium, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and mobile application architecture.
- Ability to work within a geographically distributed development team spread between multiple time zones and cultures.
- Native iOS and Android development experience using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and/or Java.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test solutions using Appium, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Strong understanding of integrated development environments and Git-based source control.
