Senior Software Engineer – Mobile SDK (iOS / Android) - cross platform

This is a specialist engineering role focused on building mobile SDKs embedded within large-scale client applications.

This is not a typical mobile app role. The work sits at the intersection of systems engineering and mobile development, with a strong focus on performance, concurrency, and low-level behaviour across Android and iOS platforms.

The SDKs you’ll work on operate behind the scenes, collecting device and behavioural signals used in fraud detection and risk analytics.

The role

• Design, build and maintain mobile SDKs used in production across iOS and Android
• Work with low-level code (C/C++, Objective-C, Java)
• Optimise performance, memory usage and concurrency
• Investigate platform-specific behaviour where documentation is limited
• Support integration across frameworks such as React Native, Flutter and Xamarin

Your background

• Strong systems-level programming background (memory, threading, performance)
• Experience building or contributing to mobile SDKs or embedded components
• Solid grounding in C/C++ plus Java or Objective-C
• Comfortable working close to the platform rather than at the UI layer

Environment

You’ll be part of a globally distributed engineering team working on security-focused products, with a strong emphasis on research, problem solving, and real-world performance constraints.
