Android Developer with iOS Experience

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with iOS experience to join our mobile application development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building, enhancing, and maintaining native Android applications, along with working knowledge of iOS application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile applications that provide seamless user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Support development and maintenance of iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Work with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across Android and iOS platforms.
• Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following mobile development best practices.
• Manage app releases, versioning, and deployment through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, tools, frameworks, and platform guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Android application development with strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android architecture components.
• Working experience in iOS development using Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and iOS SDK.
• Good understanding of MVVM/MVC/MVP design patterns.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, push notifications, and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with app debugging, performance tuning, and memory optimization.
• Knowledge of publishing applications to Play Store and App Store.
• Understanding of mobile security, data protection, and secure coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a plus.
• Familiarity with Firebase, analytics tools, crash reporting, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
