Team Center Developer

A Teamcenter Developer designs, customizes, and maintains Siemens Teamcenter, an enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. They automate engineering processes, build system integrations, and ensure seamless data flow across CAD and ERP systems to optimize product development workflows

Responsibilities

System Customization: Extend Teamcenter functionality using BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE), ITK server-side scripting, and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).Integrations: Develop APIs and workflows to connect PLM software with CAD systems and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, NX).

User Interface Design: Configure and customize the Active Workspace Client (AWC) to enhance user experience.

Process Automation: Create and maintain workflows, access controls, change management processes, and queries.

Troubleshooting: Resolve system errors, bugs, and performance bottlenecks while ensuring system security and integrity.

System Maintenance: Support system patching, platform upgrades, and release management. Documentation: Write technical specifications, test plans, and system documentation. Qualifications & Key Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Core Java, C++, and scripting languages.

Teamcenter

Core Tools: Experience with BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Query Builder, and Dispatcher.

Architecture: Strong knowledge of 2-Tier and 4-Tier Teamcenter Unified Architecture .Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development frameworks and version control tools like GitHub
