Senior Validation Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Projection (Android Auto and CarPlay)
• Testing experience with certification processes for both Android Auto and CarPlay
• Experience with Bluetooth profiles and protocols such as HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP
• Automation development using scripting languages like Python and Shell, and languages such as C
• Excellent experience in QA activities such as requirement analysis, test case/plan/strategy creation, and manual testing
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth protocol analyzers such as Ellysis and FTE
• Hands-on experience with functional, system, regression, and performance testing
• Excellent analytical, technical, oral, and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and passionate about quality and software excellence
• Experience in testing processes, test management, and planning
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 2 years of work experience
• Prior work experience in the industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Track, support, analyze, and verify features/issues in JIRA, driving them to closure
• Monitor product quality through effective testing strategy, planning, and execution
• Collaborate closely with other software testers, product owners, and developers in an agile environment
• Create, review, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test strategies for new and existing features
• Perform interoperability (IOP) testing with various devices
• Work closely with external software/hardware partners/vendors
• Develop test automation using Python scripting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and implementation of customer-visible features
• Test software under real conditions in vehicles
• Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality software for infotainment systems
