Audio Software Engineer

We are looking for:

We are seeking a Principal Audio Software Engineer to join an advanced research and development team focused on creating next-generation audio technologies across multiple product domains. In this role, you will design, prototype, and evaluate innovative audio software and DSP solutions, contributing to the development of cutting-edge real-time audio systems.

What you will do:

• Implement audio DSP algorithms in VST3 format to prototype audio systems.
• Develop software applications to evaluate and benchmark existing audio technologies for market readiness.
• Prototype audio systems and build technology demonstrators.
• Evaluate and qualify the performance of audio algorithms using dedicated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with research teams to design and develop new audio technologies.
• Document results through technical reports, white papers, and patents.
• Support the transfer of new technologies from research environments to product development teams.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Acoustics.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong software development experience in C/C++.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Git, and Agile development environments.
• Experience developing multi-threaded, interrupt-driven applications for real-time systems.
• Experience with audio development SDKs (e.g., JUCE, WMA SDK).
• Experience with Qt or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of audio processing using MATLAB and audio signal processing algorithm design.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Innovative and results-driven mindset with a strong interest in audio technologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing and testing algorithms based on research papers.
• Experience with Windows or macOS audio development.
• Familiarity with audio recording tools.
