Key Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate and maintain software for broadband and connected home devices.
- Design and implement new features for residential gateways, Wi‑Fi routers, mesh solutions and IoT devices.
- Contribute to the evolution of RDK‑B, prplOS and Linux-based embedded platforms.
- Develop and integrate network services and protocols including Wi‑Fi, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, TR‑069 and USP.
- Perform software debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and DevOps teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release activities.
- Produce technical documentation and design specifications.
- Participate in interoperability testing, certification and validation activities.
- Engage with telecom operators, chipset vendors and hardware partners.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong programming skills in C, C++ and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Experience with Embedded Linux development environments.
- Knowledge of Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins and CI/CD environments.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with broadband CPE, residential gateways, mesh Wi‑Fi or connected home devices.
