Agility Partners is working with a financial services organization that's investing heavily in its mobile banking platform and is looking to add an Android Engineer to the team.
About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building modern, customer-facing mobile applications and wants to work with a strong engineering team focused on architecture, performance, security, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing native Android applications used by a large customer base
- Building modern, scalable mobile experiences
- Partnering closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Backend Engineering
- Contributing to application architecture, code quality, testing, and performance initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Android development experience
Required Skills
- Strong Kotlin experience
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android frameworks
- Solid understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles
- Experience integrating APIs and enterprise services
Preferred Skills
- Financial services or fintech experience is a plus, but strong Android engineering experience is the priority.
