Software engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

ON-SITE, Monday - Friday with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.

We are looking for: Software engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Linux system porting, kernel configuration, peripheral driver development, debugging, system stability tuning.
• Develop and iterate embedded application software, complete requirement analysis, technical design, coding implementation, version release and issue closure independently.
• Cooperate with hardware, test, development team, FAE, project teams and customer teams, sort out system technical risks, Independently present technical solutions and conduct product demonstrations for customers, supporting customer verification and field test delivery.
• Maintain software versions, compile technical documents, summarize technical problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Information, Communication Engineering or related majors.
• Proficient in C/C++, skilled in Linux application development, multi-thread programming, IPC and shell scripting.
• Familiar with Linux kernel mechanism, device tree, and common peripheral drivers including UART,SPI, I2C, MIPI, Flash and Ethernet.
• Capable of independently troubleshooting system crash, reboot, network anomaly and stability issues.
• Possess independent customer communication and solution presentation capabilities, with good English skills for technical and business communication.
