AI Systems Engineer (Go)

Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong Go expertise to join our AI engineering team. We are an early-stage consumer technology company operating out of our office in Brickell, Miami, building a private, integrated AI server for the home. Our team already includes engineers focused on model training, evaluation, and harness design. This role is different: we need an all-around software/systems engineer who turns designs into robust, production-grade implementation across the entire platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain production services in Go across our agent orchestration, memory, and device-integration layers

2. Build and operate the data infrastructure backing our AI stack (Redis, time-series, vector, and graph databases)

3. Ship features end-to-end: from design docs to tested, deployed, observable services
Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and developer workflows

4. Work daily with AI coding agents as a force multiplier for implementation velocity

Qualifications:

-High proficiency in Go for production systems (concurrency, services, testing)

-High proficiency using AI coding agents (Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, etc.) as a core part of your workflow

-Strong general software/systems engineering fundamentals: APIs, data stores, messaging, observability
Experience with Redis, SQL/SQLite, and ideally vector or graph databases
CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions or similar) is highly desired

-Experience integrating LLM inference into production systems is a plus — this is not a model-training role

Compensation:
