About The Role

Purpose

This is a position for an iOS Software Developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS mobile phones and tablets.

The primary focus will be the development of U.X.-friendly iOS applications and their

integration with back-end services and Bluetooth® IIoT Sensors.

The employee will be working alongside other engineers and developers. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

• Supports IIoT Mobile Applications that communicate with Cloud services, that drive both Hardware and Software Sales and offers high end Solutions to ITT Customer base.

Tasks

Our Ideal Candidate Meets The Following Requirements

• Documenting business requirements and re-engineering business and/or IT processes
• Performing application design activities (e.g., designing user interface, usability testing)
• Assisting in conducting gap analysis between business requirements and software
• Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
• Assisting with build, test, and deploy activities
• Proposing ideas for using digital and mobile technologies to address client issues and challenges

The profile should be rounded by excellent analytical skills, precision, self-management capacities and a strong goal-oriented inclination.

Mandatory / Desired

Qualifications

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable iOS (Swift/Objective-C) Applications and Frameworks to ensure compliance with application development standards
• Integrate with Backend RESTful APIs, Bluetooth® IIoT Sensors, and AWS Cloud Services
• Present, persist, and retrieve data effectively in a U.X.-Friendly way
• Support the entire application lifecycle from concept to design, testing, release, and support, ensure that code is clean and secure
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols, and recommend enhancements
• Collaborate with other developers, designers (Backend/Mobile/Frontend)
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered during testing based on Business/Customer Needs
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Apply Security Principles
• Knowledge of IoT software concepts and state-of-the-art technology

Break/Fix Support – Analyze problem tickets and work collaboratively with Product/Project Management and/or end users to identify source of problems, develop and test solutions and manage the releases to production

Technical Specifications – prepare and communicate written technical specifications based on business requirements

Solution Evaluation – analyze, evaluate and select appropriate technology to implement solutions that meet requirements

Development – develop source code, database and other technical objects to create programs that meet requirementsTesting – test all programs to ensure requirements are metCommercial Application Processes include but not limit
