Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Native technologies. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, suggest solutions and estimate efforts to build user-friendly applications
- Ensure that the mobile applications are user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement app monitoring and analytics
- Implement app localisation in multiple languages
- Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identify process issues and plan preventive measures
- Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores
- Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation
- Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to team members and address underperformance
- Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
- Expertise in at least one Native development language across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)
- Previous experience leading a team
- Knowledge of SCRUM processes
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
