SQL Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join a growing team. This individual will play a key role in turning data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, interpret, and transform data to support business initiatives and strategic decisions
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models using SQL
• Extract and manipulate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency using Excel macros and VBA
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide actionable insights
• Present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies across systems

Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• Solid experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation
• Experience with VBA for automation and reporting enhancements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business teams
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts
• Background in finance, operations, or professional services environments
