The Role
This is an ideal role for a graduate looking to build a career in Data Analytics. Key responsibilities include:
- Retrieve and analyse data from SQL Server databases
- Support the design and build of Power BI reports and dashboards
- Assist with data validation and cleaning processes to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of source data
- Help create and maintain documentation such as report catalogues, data dictionaries and basic requirement notes
- Gather stakeholder requirements for new reporting requests
The Requirements
This is a supportive, learning focused role with clear opportunities for progression as skills and experience develop. Key requirements include:
- Degree in numerate, technical or business related field
- Basic working knowledge of SQL/Python
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel for simple data manipulation and analysis
- Some exposure to Power BI or a similar visualisation tool
- Able to work with both technical and non technical audiences
