Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with some flexibility for remote work. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, developing data models, implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and managing data warehouses. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data sets to enable business decision-making and collaborating with teams to ensure best practices in data infrastructure.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, and one or more big data technologies

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake

• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with large-scale datasets

• Ability to design and implement stored procedures and optimise complex queries

Certifications:

• GCP certified Data Engineer-Preferred
