What You’ll Build

Ready to lead the AI Revolution?

As a Senior Data & AI Engineer Technical Lead, you will:

• design and build the data engineering framework, reusable components and templates (eg CI/CD), and best practices that we need to boost productivity of hundreds of SAP Data Engineers building AI-ready Data Products.
• extend this data engineering framework to make it easy for AI Agents to discover and consume those Data Products at scale
• turbo charge the Data Product Engineers experience by providing powerful AI-assistant for accelerating Data Product development and operations

You will work on cutting-edge technology stack based of SAP Business AI Platform, extended with Microsoft Azure and Databricks strategic partners technologies

You will work in an international agile team, collaborating closely with product owner and users to shape the desired features, and you will provide actionable solution design and guideline, and deliver incrementally our frameworks and services with your agile team peers.

What You Bring

• Successful Data Engineering track record and experience in building Data Product with enterprise quality, preferably in Lakehouse architecture
• Proficiency in Python development
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. GitHub) and CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Github Actions), and ability to setup robust pipelines at scale
• Strong knowledge with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) or equivalent technology
• Strong knowledge in Agentic AI, and know-how knowledge of framework like LangGraph, MCP, A2A
• Strong knowledge with industry standard microservices (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken), required for collaboration with international teams
• Ability to provide actionable technical guidance and to implement engineering excellence practices among agile team peers
