We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Client's IT system house and European data center.
About the Role
Your goal in the project is to develop an integration layer that will be an interface between the source and target systems for product, location and supplier data, and the master data management tool Syndigo.
Responsibilities
- Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfaces.
- Ensure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messages.
- Support production stability through monitoring, alerting, and dead-letter queue handling.
- Build a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flows.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Required Skills
- AWS (DynamoDB, lambdas, SQS, EC, Fargate)
- CI/CD (Bitbucket, Jenkins)
- Python
- SQL
- Confluent Kafka
- Solid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings, and production support considerations
- Experience with data governance and master data management (Syndigo) is a strong advantage
- Clear communication

Preferred Skills
- AWS certificates
- Prior experience in the fashion retail industry
