We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the team of one of our international clients.

The main objective of this role is to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, reliable data to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient and scalable data pipelines.
• Build and maintain modern data architectures.
• Ensure data availability, quality, and reliability.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve data usage and accessibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced English proficiency (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Scala and/or Java is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data pipeline and processing tools, including Airflow, dbt, Kafka, and Spark.
• Solid understanding of:
• Data Warehousing concepts
• Dimensional Modeling
• ETL/ELT best practices
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices (Git).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to machine learning pipelines or MLOps.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, or data cataloging.
