Job Description

  • Define and establish data-driven frameworks as a dedicated discussion partner for various business units to plan, strategize, and grow Shopee's business within the project period.
  • Shape complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, acting as an internal consultant who simplifies analytical terminologies for diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze, clean, and evaluate large, complex datasets to drive data-driven decision-making across key corporate initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and deploy automated dashboards to continuously monitor and report on key performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct precise ad-hoc analyses and evaluate critical metrics to support strategic decision-making and deliver impactful outcomes for special projects.

Requirements

  • Hold a minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or other quantitative-based majors.
  • Has prior experience or strong foundational knowledge in project management, strategy, business development, management consulting, or business intelligence.
  • Proven technical proficiency in querying languages, specifically utilizing SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong familiarity with building and managing dashboards on BI platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
  • Advanced analytics capabilities using Python or R is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage, coordinate, and drive projects across multiple cross-functional stakeholders and functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data or insights into structured, actionable business strategies.
  • Comfortable managing and executing multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to converse fluently in English and Bahasa Indonesia to align with internal stakeholders.
  • Self-starter mindset characterized by a proactive, can-do attitude toward complex operational challenges.
