Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation
- Independently owns the collection, integration, and preparation of data from multiple sources with minimal guidance
- Manages and improves existing data pipelines and ETL processes
- Identifies structural data issues that require upstream resolution
- Exercises judgment on data preparation approaches rather than following predefined methods
- Drives complex and ambiguous analytical problems across assigned business domains — from problem framing through to insight delivery
- Handles ad-hoc and recurring analysis requests with a high degree of independence
- Translates ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Presents findings in a clear, actionable, and audience-appropriate manner
- Owns the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Holistic, Metabase
- Takes end-to-end responsibility for recurring performance reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to track KPIs and business metrics
- Defines metrics in collaboration with stakeholders and ensures outputs remain relevant, accurate, and decision-ready
- Champions data quality and integrity standards within assigned domains
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of data sources, definitions, processes, and assumptions
- Proactively flags systemic data quality issues with recommended remediation approaches rather than escalation alone
- Follows best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance
- Serves as a reliable analytical partner to assigned business units — understanding their data needs and independently driving analytical projects from brief to delivery
- Communicates findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contributes data-driven perspectives in cross-functional discussions without requiring senior facilitation
- Drives the growth of the broader data team by sharing analytical approaches and proposing improvements to team standards, workflows, and documentation practices
- Acts as a reference point for analytical best practices within the team
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and at least one BI tool (Python, Metabase, Holistic, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Able to work with multiple data sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and manage ETL processes
- Experienced in handling end-to-end analytical projects independently with minimal guidance
- Strong communication skills — able to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Python or R experience is a plus
