The department oversees a wide range of public health initiatives, including disease surveillance, environmental health, emergency preparedness, laboratory services, maternal and child health, and vital records.

About the Role

Role: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 5+ Years

Responsibilities

• At a minimum, two (2) years of experience in data analysis.
• At least six (6) months of that experience must have developing business intelligence reports.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• If substituting the Bachelor's degree with an additional of qualifying experience, then the requirement for experience must reflect a total of six (6) years of experience.

Required Skills

• Up to three (3) additional year(s) above the mandatory minimum of two (2) years of experience.
• A minimum of one (1) project with experience providing Business Intelligence visualization services for federal, state, or local government entities.
• A minimum of one (1) project with experience working on large IT projects providing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, and Tableau.
• Utilizing multiple data sources such as extract transform load (ETL) pipelines and SQL.
