Data Analytics Engineer

Data Analytics Engineer with excellent AWS data skills required by a thriving digital agency who have a major 5+ year partnership with their biggest client - a well-known hospitality chain in the UK. This role is end to end, so we are seeking Data Analytics Engineer who is also comfortable with the reporting and visualisation side.

Please note - this role is 100% remote - but you MUST be based within the UK to apply!

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will build & maintain data pipelines using AWS services and python. This data comes in from multiple sources including GA4 so then needs to be manipulated into clean, workable data. You’ll be using AWS services such as S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Athena, AWS Glue and AWS Lambda, as well as BigQuery. For the data viz, it makes sense to use Amazon QuickSight so some experience with a similar end to end ecosystem is desired.

There is also a good focus on AI/LLM, using tools such as Amazon Bedrock for data and reporting workflows, so you will need to be proficient with using gen AI tooling in your daily work.

Data Analytics Engineer requirements:

• Demonstrable experience (2-3 years +) as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer / Data Developer, working intensively with AWS and the related AWS services
• End to end capability including reporting / visualisation is a must – Amazon Quick Sight is used here
• Solid python & SQL skills are required
• Google BigQuery and GA4 would be a bonus
• Proficient with LLM / AI services for your daily work
• Good and positive communication is essential due to the team setup
• You must be happy working 100% remotely
