Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, maintain, and analyze data from Facilities Services systems to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and distribute reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights for leadership and departmental stakeholders.
- Monitor data quality, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reporting standards, documentation, and data consistency across systems.
- Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and resource optimization through data analysis.
- Collaborate with staff, vendors, and technical teams to support reporting tools, system integrations, application enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performs data integration functions by designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that support the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources into usable datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Develops and maintains scripts and automated workflows to support efficient data collection, processing, and preparation for analysis and reporting.
- Administer, configure, maintain, and support Facilities Services enterprise applications and technology platforms, (e.g. Oracle Fusion Cloud, TDX, Kahua, SCADA/BAS platforms, etc.) and related operational technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, software, system access, and user support issues while providing responsive customer service and technical assistance to end users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, security roles, and system access in accordance with university policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Assist with system upgrades, testing, deployments, integrations, and small-scale technology projects to ensure reliable system performance and continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, technical staff, vendors, and departmental stakeholders to evaluate system improvements, recommend technology solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain systems for data collection, storage, and accessibility to support reliable data management and business operations.
- Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, lake houses, and cloud data platforms to support scalable, secure, and reliable analytics and reporting.
- Provide responsive customer service and technical support to Facilities Services staff by addressing technology, application, and process-related questions and issues.
- Assist in maintaining effective service delivery by documenting procedures, tracking support requests, and ensuring timely resolution of user concerns.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing efforts by creating user guidance, communicating system updates, and assisting end users with technology adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, customer experience, and operational efficiency through feedback, process evaluation, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting process standardization, service enhancements, and alignment with departmental goals and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update user guides, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and training materials for Facilities Services systems and applications.
- Provide end-user training and functional support for departmental technologies, applications, and reporting tools to promote effective system utilization.
- Assist with on-boarding and ongoing education for staff by delivering one-on-one instruction, group training sessions, and system demonstrations as needed.
- Document system changes, workflows, reporting standards, and technical procedures to ensure consistency, knowledge retention, and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders and technical staff to identify training needs, improve user understanding, and support technology adoption and process improvement initiatives
- Required Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or vocational/technical training with at least 3 years of professional experience required in at least two of the following areas: data analysis, data warehousing, data visualization, application development, business intelligence, enterprise application support, statistical programming, or data prep.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of data analysis principles, reporting methods, and data management practices used to support operational and strategic decision
- making. Skill in troubleshooting, supporting, and administering enterprise applications, software systems, and end-user technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends or discrepancies, and develop practical recommendations for process improvement and
- operational efficiency.
- Skill in developing documentation, training materials, and delivering end-user instruction for technology systems and business processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide professional customer service while collaborating with technical staff, vendors, leadership, and end
- users. Knowledge of information technology standards, security practices, system access controls, and applicable policies and procedures related to
- enterprise systems and data management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Solid understanding of AI and machine learning and the ability to engineer AI prompts.

- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
- A Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
- or an Associate’s degree plus 5–7 years of directly related experience,
- or a combination of education, certifications, and progressively responsible experience demonstrating comparable competency
