Microsoft Fabric & Dynamics Solutions Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric & Dynamics Solutions Engineer to support the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of Microsoft business applications and data platforms. This role will serve as a key contributor in building a modern Microsoft-centric ecosystem leveraging Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Dynamics 365, Business Central, Power Platform, and Azure services.

The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering expertise with hands-on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft SaaS offerings. This individual will help establish scalable data foundations, integrate operational systems, support portal and customer engagement initiatives, and enable enterprise analytics and reporting capabilities.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, developers, and implementation partners to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform:

  • Configure and administer Microsoft Fabric environments.
  • Design and implement Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake architectures.
  • Build and maintain Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Semantic Models.
  • Develop scalable ingestion patterns from Dynamics 365, Business Central, CRM platforms, operational databases, APIs, and flat-file sources.
  • Support enterprise data governance, data quality, lineage, and security initiatives.
  • Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, scalability, and cost management.
  • Partner with business teams to define enterprise reporting and analytics requirements.

Dynamics 365 & Business Applications:

  • Configure and support Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, and Business Central solutions.
  • Participate in business process design workshops and translate requirements into platform configurations.
  • Configure entities, tables, forms, views, business rules, workflows, security roles, and integrations.
  • Support data migration and master data management initiatives.
  • Design integrations between Dynamics applications and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Assist in establishing reporting and operational analytics across Dynamics workloads.

Portal & Customer Engagement Support:

  • Support integration requirements for GPO Portal and customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Enable secure consumption of customer, rebate, network, pricing, financial, and operational data through Fabric and Dynamics platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams on API consumption, data contracts, and portal reporting requirements.
  • Assist in designing entitlement-aware reporting and customer-specific data access models.

Integration & Automation:

  • Design and implement integrations utilizing Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, REST APIs, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Support automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop reusable integration patterns and deployment standards.

Data Engineering:

  • Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes.
  • Design dimensional and analytical data models.
  • Develop SQL, Spark, and Fabric-based transformation logic.
  • Support enterprise semantic modeling and Power BI reporting initiatives.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft business applications and data solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data platforms.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, or Business Central.
  • Strong data engineering background with experience designing modern data platforms.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience working with APIs and integration technologies.
  • Experience with Power BI semantic models and enterprise reporting.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID security and role-based access controls.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, payer, or life sciences industries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Real-Time Intelligence workloads.
  • Experience with Power Platform administration and governance.
  • Experience integrating Dynamics data with enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with customer portals, entitlement models, and external user access scenarios.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks.
  • Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365 certifications a plus.
