• Greenfield development opportunity.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting large-scale geospatial and data platforms.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of cloud-native systems within AWS environments.
• Work closely with engineering and data teams to deliver robust platform capabilities and high-quality software solutions.
• Develop high-performance ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines for complex datasets.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability across platform services.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers across backend, cloud, and data disciplines.
• Work with modern technologies including Go, C#, distributed databases, search platforms, and large-scale data systems.

👤 About you 👤

• Strong commercial experience developing scalable software applications and backend systems.
• Backend development experience with Go, C#, or similar modern programming languages.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications, ideally within AWS environments.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable platform design.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, messaging systems, caching, or search technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver practical technical solutions.
• Comfortable contributing to technical discussions and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to geospatial, mapping, imagery, or large-scale data environments would be highly regarded.
• Experience working within Agile engineering teams.
