Role Summary
We are seeking a quantitative analyst to maintain, enhance, and build new quantitative tools used as part of the Adams Funds investment process. The position is located either in Baltimore, MD or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the production of existing quantitative models and reports including modifications, enhancements, troubleshooting
- Work with portfolio managers and investment analysts to develop new quantitative tools and provide analyses of ad-hoc requests
- Maintain databases of proprietary and third-party data for use in benchmark and fund analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with an MBA and/or CFA preferred
- A minimum of seven years of quantitative investment experience
- Specific experience with R, Python, Excel, DOS command language, batch processing
- FactSet and FactSet Formula API knowledge
- Ability to manipulate, analyze, and present output derived from large data sets
- Strong statistical analysis comprehension
Compensation:
- Salary range of $180,000 to $220,000, depending on experience
- Variable annual bonus, adjusted for fund and employee performance
