We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Improve data usability to support MEDITECH Expanse platform implementation
- Ensure high-quality, normalized, and usable data is consistently available to clinicians, data scientists, administrators, and report writers
- Bridge technical and clinical gaps by interpreting workflows, aligning data with standards, and supporting terminology normalization
- Partner with business and product owners, subject matter experts in clinical domains, and technical teams to define requirements, develop data models, and participate in terminology normalization
- Provide expertise in Expanse clinical workflows and data structures
- Apply healthcare coding knowledge to normalize terminology by creating and maintaining code maps
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of experience in a healthcare-related field
- 7+ years of experience in a hospital setting (clinical, Health Information Management, or billing preferred)
- 1+ year(s) of experience in clinical coding preferred
- 1+ year(s) of experience in data and workflow analysis preferred
- 1+ year(s) of experience in EHR maintenance, build or implementation (MEDITECH, EPIC, Cerner preferred)
