Data Analyst I (Onsite position)

This position works across departments to understand business needs, improve workflows, support internal systems, and help turn data and process problems into practical solutions. The ideal candidate is curious, technically minded, and comfortable learning new systems. Experience with SQL, Python, databases, application support, and general networking concepts is highly valuable.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop, support, and improve internal data processes, reports, and technical workflows.
- Write and maintain SQL queries, data extracts, imports, transformations, and related processes.
- Use business intelligence tools, databases, and third-party software platforms to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Assist with internal technical projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Work with software vendors on technical details such as data files, integrations, system configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a user, administrator, or backup administrator for in-house and third-party systems.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, automation, and system usage.
- Document workflows, technical processes, data movement, and system procedures.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports as requested or assigned.
- Lead or support project management efforts, including project plans, milestones, tasks, testing, and implementation tracking.

- Analytical ability: Able to gather requirements, identify trends, find gaps, and validate data.

Education And/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in business management, management information systems, data management/analysis, application development, programming, database administration, or technical systems support.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of, or interest in learning:
- SQL and relational database concepts.
- Python or another scripting/programming language.
- Data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
- Business intelligence or reporting tools.
- Spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Application configuration and system administration.
- Basic networking, file transfer, and system integration concepts.
- Troubleshooting technical issues across software, data, and business processes.
