📍 Saint-Denis, Réunion Island | Permanent Role

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Data & Business Intelligence to lead the transformation of a growing enterprise data environment across retail, e-commerce, finance, supply chain, ERP, and HR systems.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape the company’s Data strategy, build scalable analytics platforms, and drive business intelligence initiatives that support executive decision-making and future AI capabilities.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement the company’s enterprise Data architecture
• Build and optimize a centralized Data Warehouse and analytics environment
• Develop strategic dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
• Lead Data Governance initiatives including MDM, data quality, lineage, and data ownership
• Manage and mentor Data Engineers and BI team members
• Coordinate closely with business, IT, and external stakeholders
• Drive advanced analytics initiatives including forecasting, inventory optimization, and customer insights
• Help prepare the organization for AI and advanced data use cases

What We’re Looking For

• 10–15 years of experience in Data, Analytics, or BI environments
• Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and BI leadership
• Expertise in:
• SQL & Python
• Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboards)
• ETL / ELT pipelines
• dbt, Talend, Informatica, or similar tools
• Cloud Data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Strong understanding of Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM)
• Experience working in complex multi-system or multi-ERP environments
• Leadership experience managing Data or BI teams
• Ability to communicate complex Data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience building a Data function from scratch or leading Data transformation programs
• Retail, e-commerce, or supply chain Data experience
• Certifications such as DAMA CDMP, Azure/AWS Data, or Power BI
