Delivery lead Data Engineering - Data Platforms

This is a critical techno-functional position requiring a strong combination of Data Engineering expertise and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) domain knowledge. The client is highly selective, and candidates are expected to demonstrate both technical depth and business understanding.

Key Skills Required

Strong Data Engineering experience:

SQL / PL-SQL

Snowflake

Dimensional Data Modeling

Solid FP&A domain expertise, including:

Budgeting

Forecasting

Financial reporting & analytics

Ability to clearly articulate FP&A concepts in interviews

Strong communication skills and professional demeanor (client-facing role)

To improve submission quality, please note the main gaps observed in previously submitted candidates:

Lack of hands-on FP&A experience despite strong technical backgrounds

Only theoretical or superficial knowledge of finance concepts

Inability to articulate FP&A use cases clearly during interviews

Misalignment with the techno-functional nature of the role
