Data Quality Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Data Quality Engineer to join a Data team with a well known organisation on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience across Snowflake, dbt, and AWS, combined with expertise in data quality, governance, and enterprise data operations. You'll work across complex data ecosystems, driving data quality initiatives while partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver trusted data outcomes.
Key skills and experience:

• Data quality management and data governance
• Data operations and application support across enterprise data platforms
• Strong SQL, Python, and dbt skills for data validation, profiling, automation, and analysis
• ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline quality
• Cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and ideally Databricks
• Data lineage and metadata management
• Root cause analysis, KPI monitoring, incident and problem management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across business and technology teams
• Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence
