Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric), Databricks (PySpark, SparkSQL), dbt, Power BI.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop modern data engineering solutions — including data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and analytics platforms — for the largest companies and organizations in Nordics.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data integration and transformation pipelines across cloud-native data platforms.
- Apply data modeling and governance best practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and business-aligned analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize pipeline and platform performance to meet scalability and reliability demands.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work in agile teams, participating in planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and bring relevant innovations into your work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse, or BI development.
- SQL skills with hands-on experience in data transformation and querying.
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar).
- Experience with data integration and orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar).
- Understanding of data warehouse design and modern data modeling concepts (including Medallion architecture, lakehouse design, Star Schema or Data Vault).
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent English and Lithuanian.
- Experience with Databricks, PySpark, or SparkSQL.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience with Python or C#.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control tools (Git).
