Design Engineer

Opportunity

Everi Labs accelerates the complete documentation workflow for specialty clinics, replacing work that's still done manually across disconnected tools. As a Design Engineer, you'll live where design meets code, shaping how dense compliance workflows look and feel, then building them yourself and shipping to production. Your work has direct impact on real clinical users.

Core responsibilities may include

• Lead the design and build of new product surfaces across the platform, owning how complex clinical and regulatory workflows look, feel, and function.
• Drive products from concept to production, define the problem, sketch ideas, prototype rapidly, and ship working code.
• Build and iterate real, working interfaces in React and Mantine, partnering closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams.
• Use rapid feedback from users and teammates to continuously improve the product.

Technical requirements

• Experience designing and building software from the ground up, from the first prototype to a production-ready product.
• Demonstrated programming ability, you can draft and build complete experiences yourself, comfortable in TypeScript and a modern frontend stack.
• Deep command of a design tool like Figma, with a sharp eye for motion and interaction design.
• Able to explain complex flows and systems clearly to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and turning rough ideas into working solutions.

Nice to have

• A portfolio that shows real craft, live products, shipped interfaces, or case studies you can walk us through.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI-powered features, especially turning model outputs into interfaces people trust.
• A track record of making complex, data-dense workflows feel simple, multi-step review, validation, dense forms.
• Strong fluency in React.
• Flexible to learn Next.js, or already familiar with it.
