Location: Sitting in LATAM – ideally Chile or Brazil

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, data engineering fundamentals, Spark, and PySpark.
• Experience building and integrating AI agents, copilots, and generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise search frameworks.
• Experience working with Azure AI services, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft collaboration platforms.
• Preferred: Experience developing AI-powered assistants, self-service analytics tools, and enablement solutions for Data Engineering teams.

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in modern data engineering and AI-powered solutions. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines while developing intelligent AI agents and automation solutions that enhance data accessibility and business productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and data processing solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
• Build and deploy AI agents and copilots using platforms such as Copilot Studio, Claude, and Databricks Genie.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise search technologies.
• Integrate AI solutions with Databricks, Snowflake, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and REST APIs.
• Develop and support solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Create workflow automation and agent orchestration solutions to streamline business and data engineering processes.
• Collaborate with data, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable and secure AI-driven capabilities.
