As a US Expansion Planning Engineer, you will be a key contact in preparing for production in a new high volume memory manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho, calculating and presenting capital impacts of processes that will be introduced at the site to senior leaders in manufacturing and R&D.

The ability to understand and efficiently communicate capital impacts of manufacturing changes is essential. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Collaborate with partners to drive future tool and process roadmaps, and calculate network capacity impacts of process changes
- Complete financial analyses before new capital equipment is purchased including metrics optimization, process flexibility, capacity sharing and equipment repurpose
- Handle site tool utilization and capacity planning models to optimize the site’s deployed capital
- Apply new Python, SQL, R and traditional Excel, VBA methods to model and automate tasks in the planning system/models
- Design, track, and communicate capital change proposals through formal presentations to manufacturing senior leaders utilizing Power BI and Tableau
- Optimize capacity of equipment base and lead site- and tool-level optimization studies for efficiency improvement
- Build and implement tools to audit manufacturing capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Lead and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturing
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 2-4 years demonstrated semiconductor capacity planning and capital equipment planning required
- Minimum 2 years proficient experience using Python and SQL to craft and develop visualization and web-based reporting metrics, and influence data driven insights in a manufacturing environment
- Semiconductor manufacturing Industrial Engineering experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in manufacturing field
- Experience turning sophisticated and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly multi-functional environment
- Proven ability to successfully analyze and interpret data, drawing conclusions, recommending actions, and reporting results across diverse technical and non-technical groups
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently while maintaining a high degree of organization and control and establishing successful working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes
