Description
In this role, you will be part of the Global Business Operations team, with a particular focus on Retail Contact Center performance and decision support.
This position will have a direct role in shaping the data and reporting infrastructure of the Retail Customer Care organisation. The role requires understanding of data architecture, data engineering and advanced Tableau skillsets to develop and own reporting for contact center performance metrics and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing data pipelines and tableau solutions to deliver efficient analytical and reporting capabilities.
Work as Individual contributor with comprehensive understanding of data architecture, Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) processes and data visualisation best practices. Have full ownership of developing, enhancing and maintaining data pipelines, Tableau Datasources and their schedules along with strong understanding of database concepts and SQL/Snowflake
- Develop highly scalable data pipelines & data structures to ingest and process data from multiple source systems, leveraging Stored procedures, Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring
- Architect generic, reusable solutions that adhere to data warehousing best practices while addressing complex business requirements
- Analyze and optimize existing data pipelines and tableau solutions, providing enhancements and ongoing support as needed
- Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, ensuring reliable and accurate outputs
- Occasional meetings with peers and cross-functional teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC during overlapping business hours.
- Develop highly scalable data pipelines to ingest and process data from multiple source systems, leveraging Stored procedures, Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring
- Architect generic, reusable solutions that adhere to data warehousing best practices while addressing complex business requirements
- Analyze and optimize existing data pipelines and tableau solutions, providing enhancements and ongoing support as needed
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles, with demonstrated expertise building and maintaining complex data pipelines, scheduling jobs and Tableau reporting solutions
- Demonstrated experience with data engineering tools and concepts, including pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies in support of analytics and reporting. Hands-on experience on Apache Spark, Apache Airflow and stored procedures
- Excellent knowledge of database concepts and extensive hands-on experience working with Snowflake, Hadoop and experience optimising SQL queries on large data
- Excellent knowledge of Python programming
- Effective presentation and communication skills, including ability to explain complex data and charts in a concise manner to large cross-functional audiences
- Proven problem-solving and cross-functional project work experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in operations, analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, mathematics, statistics, economics or other quantitative area, Master Degree a plus
- Strong knowledge Tableau is preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to balance multiple projects and meet timelines.
- Ability to stay positive in high stress situations and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in Snowflake AI and Tableau AI is preferred
