About The Role
The Data & Analytics Engineering department brings together specialists in data infrastructure, analytics, and data management. Together we build a modern and reliable data foundation that supports decision making across the business. This role is for Data Management & New Initiatives team under Data & Analytics Engineering department.
In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, partner with teams across the bank, and ensure that business critical data needs are met. You will take responsibility for ensuring continuous operations of our data warehouse across all domains, making sure daily processes run smoothly and data is readily accessible for all users. You’ll also monitor data infrastructure performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other engineers to develop our security and business continuity best-practices.

Main Tasks
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and dbt.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable data operations.
- Monitor data infrastructure performance and proactively perform troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.

- Document processes and contribute to best practices.

For This Role, You’ll Need
- Experience working in DataOps/ AI Ops, Data Engineering, or similar technical role focused on data infrastructure and operations.
- Fluency in English is required, along with fluency in either Swedish or Norwegian.
- An academic degree in a relevant field such as data engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in ETL processes and data logic, with a solid understanding of how data is sourced, transformed, and delivered to end users.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure's data stack
- Practical experience working with both Databricks and dbt in a production environment.
- Ability to manage and automate data infrastructure resources (e.g., clusters, SQL Warehouses, permissions).
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools.
- Previous experience in data-focused roles within the financial sector.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
