We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer to support and evolve our China data ecosystem.

This role combines data platform operations, AI solution support, and enterprise application integration, and plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across supply chain, customer, and business intelligence domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI & Data Solutions (Primary Focus)
• Support and operate data-driven AI solutions for business use cases
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to enable AI/ML model deployment and data pipelines
• Ensure data availability, quality, and performance for AI applications
• Participate in building scalable data foundation for AI initiatives in China
• Data Platform & Engineering
• Manage and optimize SQL Server environments
• Maintain and enhance data integration pipelines (SSIS, ETL workflows)
• Support and develop China local data warehouse, integrating SAP BW, SAP EDP, and master data
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Enterprise Application & Data Integration
• Support data interfaces for key enterprise systems:
• SCM Digital Platform
• MDM (Master Data Management)
• Ensure stable and accurate data exchange across systems
• Handle change requests (CR) and continuous improvements
• BI & Analytics Support
• Provide technical support for Power BI (DAX, Gateway, refresh issues)
• Support global reporting platforms (BW, EDW, BO)
• Ensure reliability and timeliness of business-critical reports
• Operations & Incident Management
• Monitor daily data jobs and system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Ensure system stability and data accuracy
• Support critical incident response when needed

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years experience in data engineering / data platform / database administration
• Strong experience with:
• SQL Server
• ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent)
• Data warehouse concepts
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and data integration

• Experience with AI/ML data pipelines or AI solution support
• Familiarity with SAP BW / SAP data integration
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset

• Strong ownership and accountability
• Ability to work independently in a complex environment
• Good communication with both technical and business stakeholders
