About The Role
As a Data Engineering Manager within the System Level Test (SLT) team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of test data generated from Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and SLT processes. Your focus will be on building scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and insights that drive quality and efficiency improvements. You will lead efforts to scale data solutions to handle large volumes of test data, ensuring performance and robustness in a big data environment.
What You’ll Achieve
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, process, and transform test data from ATE and SLT systems.
- Collaborate closely with test engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Architect scalable data solutions capable of handling increasing volumes of test data, leveraging Databricks and big data technologies.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability to support real-time and batch analytics workloads.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers focused on test data management and analytics support.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the test data ecosystem.
- Optimize data storage and processing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to data ingestion and processing at scale.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data pipeline scalability and reliability.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and big data technologies.
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
