Job Responsibilities
This position will play a critical role in driving the success of our game publishing operations by staying ahead of market trends, identifying high-potential games, and crafting strategies to source and evaluate game deals. This position requires a deep understanding of the mobile gaming industry, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to align market insights with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
BI Systems & Data Strategy
- Architect BI Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of a centralized Business Intelligence system, collaborating with Data Engineers to ensure data pipelines accurately capture KPIs across game performance, user acquisition, and monetization.
- Power BI Ecosystem: Build, maintain, and optimize a suite of automated Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into portfolio health for Technical, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Data Governance: Work with the technical team to define data schemas and ensure "one version of the truth" across all cross-functional reports.
- Evaluate submitted or scouted game proposals based on market fit, scalability, monetization potential, and alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the operations and finance teams to assess the feasibility and ROI of potential game publishing deals.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations to leadership on which games to pursue.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure sourced games align with promotional capabilities and technical requirements.
- Share insights and updates with the broader team to foster a data-driven approach to game publishing.
- Reports directly to the Head of Operations in Vietnam.

- Hardcore gamer who plays a lot of mobile genres.
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in the mobile gaming industry, preferably in market analysis, game publishing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Deep knowledge of mobile game trends, genres, and monetization models (e.g., in-app purchases, ads, subscriptions).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with developers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Vietnamese gaming market and its unique characteristics and gaming metrics such as ROI / ROAS / Retention … is a plus.
- Advanced Analytics: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and Power BI (DAX/Power Query) for complex data modeling and visualization.
- Familiar working with 3rd parties mobile game analytics platforms (e.g., App Annie, Sensor Tower, Firebase and MMP such as Adjust / Appsflyer).
- Proficiency in English.
