What qualifications are needed?
- Minimum of 4 years’ of professional experience on a similar role
- Azure AI Foundry — primary and essential
- Microsoft Azure stack broadly (Fabric Agents, Copilot Studio as secondary/nice-to-have)
- Python (not necessarily advanced AI Python, but solid enough to bridge to custom code when Foundry isn't enough)
- LangChain / LangGraph — awareness and working knowledge (used by the team but not the primary tool for this role)
- Understanding of where low-code/no-code tools end and custom Python solutions begin
- Can move fast and deliver working examples quickly
- Able to navigate both low-code tooling and pro-code approaches
- Good communicator — part of the role involves sharing learnings with other teams and influencing how agentic AI is done company-wide
- Pragmatic: knows when "good enough out-of-the-box" beats a custom solution
