Job Summary

ChabezTech is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of a scalable, enterprise-grade Revenue Data Platform (RDMP). This role will be responsible for defining data architecture strategy, developing proof of concepts, and delivering innovative data solutions that enable unified access to business-critical data and actionable insights across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strategic architecture expertise with hands-on technical leadership and has experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design a scalable enterprise-wide Revenue Data Platform.
• Translate business requirements into robust data architecture, design patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate architectural decisions and accelerate adoption.
• Design and implement solutions using Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS.
• Establish data governance, security, scalability, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure successful execution.
• Drive cost optimization strategies within platform architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Define data models, integration frameworks, and data management best practices.
• Support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience architecting and supporting Revenue Data Platforms.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS.
• Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of modern data engineering practices and CI/CD methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Finance or Revenue domains.
• Familiarity with SAP and Oracle platforms.
• Experience with GitLab and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to AI/LLM technologies such as Claude.
• Cloud Architect or Big Data certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Candidate Requirements

• Must be local to the Frisco/Dallas, TX area (preferred) or Seattle, WA.
• Must be available for an in-person interview.
• Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week.
• MAANG/FAANG experience or equivalent tier-1 technology company background is required.
