This means you will oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from initial requirement capture and definition to successful delivery, roll-out, and adoption, ensuring alignment with Richemont's data governance standards. This role is key to accelerating data-driven decision-making across our Maisons, Functions, and Regions.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Discovery, Planning & Delivery
- Define and drive the roadmap for owned data products within your product area focusing on Clients, online and e-commerce, web analytics, partners, post-purchase and marketing.
- Collaborate closely with the Group Data Office and Group Data Domain Leads.
- Gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders across Maisons, Functions, and Regions, translating them into clear user stories and technical specifications.
- Partner with the Group Data Office to design, prioritize, and plan data product delivery, ensuring technical implementation meets business and governance requirements.
- Oversee functional testing and validation to ensure data products meet defined needs.
- Work with Group Data Domain Leads to apply data governance requirements throughout the product lifecycle, from data ingestion to sharing.
- Ensure adherence to Group data governance principles and standards for raw data and data products, including data classification, field-level documentation, and data quality monitoring.
- Implement and document access rules in accordance with access policies.
- Drive the adoption and usage of owned data products across Maisons, Functions, and Regions.
- Develop and deliver training materials and documentation to support optimal data product usage.
- Provide ongoing functional support and guidance to users and proactively identify opportunities for continuous innovation.
- Manage new business requests and conduct regular updates on data product evolution.
- Group Technology: To align on technical architecture, data models, and integration mechanisms.
- Group Data Office: To ensure best practices and adherence to Group-wide data governance for central data products.
- Group Data Leads (Domains and Maisons): To understand domain needs, governance requirements, and promote core data product adoption.
- +7 years working experience in a related field
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience on the job.
- Data Product Management: Proven ability to manage the entire lifecycle of technical data products, from discovery and definition to delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of data management and governance principles, including data classification, data quality, and access control.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating data, with strong knowledge of BigQuery or similar large-scale data warehouses.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Looker.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques, data modeling, and data pipeline concepts.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- All certifications proving above technical knowledge are considered as a plus.
- Understanding of business processes within a product-oriented environment.
- Ability to ensure data generated in products supports business processes and is properly integrated, modeled, and available.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage interactions with diverse business stakeholders, including senior management, and foster collaboration across Maisons, Functions, and Regions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
