We are currently looking for a:
Data Architecture Lead
to support the design and implementation of a scalable enterprise data ecosystem. The selected candidate will work in a cross-functional environment, acting as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a focus on defining, structuring, and implementing data solutions that enable efficient data collection, integration, governance, and usage across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business and operational needs.
- Define data models, data flows, and integration strategies across multiple systems and platforms.
- Establish best practices for data management, governance, quality, and security.
- Contribute to the long-term data strategy and roadmap.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and integration processes.
- Build robust ETL/ELT frameworks for structured and unstructured data sources
- Support both cloud-based and on-premises data environments.
- Ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
- Strong experience with data modeling, database design, and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Fluent English and French
Nice to Have:
- Experience in regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare.
- Knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with modern data stack technologies and orchestration tools.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, LIMS, MES, or laboratory-related data environments.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Additional European languages are considered a plus.
Location: Vaud, Switzerland
Type of job: on-site or hybrid (with 2 days of remote work per week).
