Build predictive models based on business data, including data preparation, feature engineering, model selection, and model evaluation techniques and measures. Coordinate with data engineering team to scale and deploy models and their related data pipelines into production within our Azure/Databricks environment.
This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

- Perform data mining, exploration, and analysis.
- Design, train, evaluate and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving business processes and addressing current pain points, using data insights, forecasts, and analytics.
- Develop and implement analytics-enabled solutions to improve business process, generate insights, and support business goals.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, trend tracking, prediction, and forecasting models.
- Evaluate and understand complex issues from business partners and recommend solutions.
- Generate visualizations using tools like Tableau to provide business insights.
- Work closely with team throughout all phases of projects: requirements definition, design, development, test and evaluation, demonstration, and deployment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, or related field; or comparable job experience.
- Two years’ experience in predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of data science toolkits such as NumPy, Pandas and MatLab.
- Experience with Azure and Databricks platforms.
- Ability to work closely with team throughout all phases of projects: requirements definition, design, development, test and evaluation, demonstration, and deployment.
- Availability to work majority of shift during United States hours (overlapping with 8am-5pm central time zone).
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
