💡We are currently looking for experienced professionals to deliver high-quality, stable, and resilient software solutions.

🔍 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automate ingestion of 8 Excel files with monthly and quarterly cadence using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory pipelines and/or Notebooks
• Develop Python-based validation and cleansing processes, including:
• schema drift detection
• duplicate column handling
• null validation
• Design, implement, and maintain a Medallion Lakehouse Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold)
• Build data models for reporting, including fact/dimension structures, relationships, and calculation logic
• Collaborate with reporting teams on Power BI semantic models and report development
• Implement automated rejection notifications when uploaded files fail validation
• Analyse and reverse-engineer business logic from the existing Excel/VBA solution
• Document data flows, transformations, and operational procedures/runbooks for client handover

🛠️REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on Python experience focused on data engineering
• Strong experience with PySpark and Spark SQL
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
• Notebooks
• Data Factory
• Lakehouse
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, including:
• Medallion Architecture
• fact/dimension design
• Experience processing Excel files using Python
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git
• Good English communication skills for collaboration with international teams

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Power BI report and semantic model development
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Parquet formats
• General Azure platform knowledge
• SQL knowledge (T-SQL or equivalent)
• Previous experience with investment management or fund-related data
• Experience reading or understanding VBA / Excel macros
