Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain telemetry reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-assisted solutions.
- Build and enhance Power BI reports, Grafana dashboards, semantic models, and analytics solutions that provide actionable operational insights.
- Develop and optimize Azure Data Explorer (Kusto/ADX) queries, functions, scheduled tables, materialized views, snapshots, and supporting datasets.
- Integrate enterprise data sources and develop supporting SQL queries, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
- Create automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, C#, or similar languages to streamline operational and reporting activities.
- Develop AI-enabled reporting and analytics components, including Copilot Agents, agentic workflows, prompt assets, and supporting knowledge repositories.
- Validate data quality, business logic, dashboard accuracy, and refresh schedules to ensure reliable production reporting.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline, reporting, dashboard, and production issues.
- Create technical documentation, reusable components, and engineering best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Support telemetry health, availability monitoring, operational reporting, and service performance initiatives.
- Reporting & Analytics (5+ Years)
- Expertise with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
- Experience building operational dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Experience with Grafana or similar visualization platforms.
- Knowledge of HTML/web-based reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency with SQL.
- Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Explorer (Kusto/ADX) or similar cloud analytics platforms.
- Experience integrating and transforming data from multiple enterprise sources.
- Strong understanding of data quality, performance, and scalability.
- Experience developing solutions using Python, PowerShell, and/or C#.
- Experience creating automation frameworks and automated reporting processes.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and analytics solutions.
- Experience with Copilot Agents, agentic platforms, or AI-driven workflow automation is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting telemetry health monitoring and service availability reporting.
- Knowledge of cloud-scale operational metrics and observability platforms.
- Experience developing production-ready analytics solutions in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with modern AI and Generative AI solutions applied to reporting, analytics, and automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 3 days/week)
- Duration: 12 months
- Pay Range*: $68.50 - $77.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
